A short, honest description of what we collect when you visit this page or email us — and the third parties our setup runs through.

Short version

We don't set tracking cookies, don't sell data, don't build profiles. Visiting the holding page leaves a server log (IP, request metadata) at our hosting provider; emailing hello@ means your mail passes through Cloudflare's email routing and lands in two Gmails. That's the whole story.

Who is the data controller

Better Together Technologies LLC (Delaware, United States) is the data controller for the personal information described below. Contact: hello@bettertogether.technology.

What we collect when you visit the page

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. By default, Cloudflare records standard request metadata — your IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, and the path you requested — to operate the service and protect against abuse. We don't add cookies on top of that.

If we enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, we'll see anonymised aggregate counts: page views, browser/OS bucket, country, and referrer. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook pixel, ad networks, or session-replay tools.

What we collect when you email us

If you write to hello@bettertogether.technology, the message:

If we reply to you, the outbound mail is sent via Resend (which uses Amazon SES under the hood); your email address appears in their transactional logs.

Fonts

The page loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address when your browser fetches the font files. This is the standard cost of using Google Fonts on the open web.

Third parties involved

ServiceWhat it does for usTheir policy
Cloudflare Hosts the page (Pages), serves DNS, routes inbound mail, optional analytics cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
Google (Gmail & Fonts) Where the studio reads incoming mail; serves the page's typefaces policies.google.com/privacy
Resend Sends outbound mail from hello@ resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
GitHub Hosts the source code (private) and runs the deploy automation github.com/privacy

Retention

We don't run our own database, so we don't retain anything in our own systems beyond email correspondence (which lives in our Gmail accounts) and the provider logs above (retained per each provider's policy). If you'd like us to delete an email exchange, ask and we will.

Legal bases (for UK/EU visitors)

Under the UK GDPR / EU GDPR, our processing rests on:

Your rights

You can ask us to:

International transfers

BTT is in the United States; our visitors are global. Data described above will be processed in the US and in whichever regions our providers operate (Cloudflare and Resend run globally; Resend's relay region is currently us-east-1).

Children

The site isn't directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We don't knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

If we change this policy materially — adding a new third party, a new collection purpose, or anything else worth knowing — we'll update the "last updated" date above and, if it's significant enough, mention it on the page.
